So much is lost in translation when you're just typing words. No one can see that wry smile, that sarcastic snigger, or the rolling of the eyes. Sarcasm is normally taken literally and jokes are taken way out of context on most forums. I always find that a explanation mark helped to articulate my words slightly. Sometimes I like to use a ;) just so there's no misinterpreting the fact that I'm just taking the piss. Except that I think smilies are a bit crap, so I end up hating my own post. Damn this modern world we live in...

If it's any consolation bigspurs, I usually end up hating most of your posts too....!
