damn straight..over a third would take the arse contract- shameful:duh:

As a fan most if not all of us would play for Spurs for free if we were given half a chance.

As professional footballers you may have to atleast consider the much higher offer as it is your livelyhood and your future.

I voted Spurs because that was with my heart, I'm not sure what I would do if the contracts were in my face and the money was that far apart, depends on your circumstances I suppose.

Say you had a young child or two, are you really going to take the lower offer to forfill your own selfish desires? or are you going to do what it takes to make the money to be able to support your children as best you can?

Hyperthecthically Spurs all day, but in reality we live in a capitalist society and you need capital to get by so some hard thinking may be required and alot would depend on your age and circumstances.

imagine if you scored the winner for arsenal in a cup final against spurs. youd be an arsenal legend

Imagine if that was by accident too:

You deliberately miss-kick, you swing wildly but the ball hits your standing leg and bobbles in

In real life I have turned down better paid job offers cos i did not like the company - or some of its bosses.

40k a week to play for the scum and then i'd have to l sell-out (and as the rules say, you can't play bad or screw things up for the scum on purpose)

or 2k a week for the only team i have ever supported.

It's completely hypothetical but it's got to be, it has to be...Spurs every time all day long.

2k a week, f**k me thats more than most people earn a week anyway and you get to play in the lilywhite of Spurs!

I just couldn't bring myself to do it, walk out in the red shirt in front of those artifical fans and see a small bunch of Spurs fans in the corner singing. Good god, 40k a week can take a walk. I'll happily lap up my very very comfortable 2k a week for my short career as a footballer.

Just to celebrate a goal in front of the Park Lane/Paxton would make my life complete, and I can go and live in a home for fully contented people singing and dancing in puddles of my own piss.

Never red.

£2k a week is still over £100k a year. Anyone that can't live off that needs to go a personal financial management course. So, Spurs every time.

If I did play for them for 40k a week I reckon I'd be released on a free after notching 40 own goals and 12 sendings off in a season including notching a fine hattrick of OG's at WHL.
