I'm sure Harry is constantly twitching when he watched the performances of Jenas, Bentley, Bale & Pav when we need 100% commitment to get out of this trouble.

I critised Bale alot in recent weeks for his lack of defensive skills, but what makes it worse he looks like he does'nt even try or give a shit. But i was aboustley shocked to read that we have not won a league game with him in the team.

Think this article sums the players up.

That article in the mail was a bit harsh on Woodgate, King and Lennon, but apart from that was spot on about the players and so was harry in questioning their passion for the club.

I have said before that there are 4 categories of players in the Premiership.
1) Players that came up from the lower league who are delighted to be in this league and will put the effort in to stay there.
2) Players who play for a top 4 team and want to stay in them, again they put the effort in.
3) Good professionals who have pride in their work and will give their all for their team,no matter what!
4) Players who think they should be playing in a top 4 team but who don't put any effort in for their current team to get there.

Unfortunately for Spurs,we seem to have a big list of players from category 4.

If Harry can identify these players at training/games then the sooner they are shown the door the better and I don't care who they are!

5) Players who think they should be a starter for a mid-table Prem side, but actually lack basic technical ability.

If players aren't pulling their weight on a consistent basis they should be out - of course some players have more weight to pull than others (in more ways than oone :)

currently Bale and Bentley definitely aren't doing the biz and neither should play on Sunday

and if Bale has to play then that's an indication that HR isn't pulling his weight

6) Players who couldn't care less about football or the clubs they play for and are only interested in the cash, bling, women, cars and celebrity status!

realistically Gomes, Dawson, King, Woodgate, Corluka, O'hara, Modric, Lennon, Pav are the only players who seem to be up to the fight for us. That leaves us with JJ, Zokora, Huddlestone, Bale, BAE, Bent (scored us goals but just cant play in a 4-4-2), Bentley all not doing much... I maintain Bentley will come good (he has shown glimpses of the talent we paid for) as will Huddlestone, but we really need to start offloading dead weight and getting in some players Harry believes will keeps us up then get us moving next season

Harry clearly sees Defoe as someone up for the fight and the simple fact we haven't seen the likes of Gunter and Ghaly means we can't judge if they are... Hutton and Dos Santos attitude can't be talked about either as they have both had/got long term injuries

I think all of our players want to win, but too many of them arent that upset when they lose, and the more we lose and the more those types of players play ahead of the others the more the disease spreads.

I think Gomes, Dawson and O'hara are the real tryers in the team, I think there is a good handful of those that will work hard but maybe are going through a tough patch, but too many of the guys you would expect to be able to rely on dont care.

We have lost too many of the guys that battled, Davids, Keane, even Berbatov would show frustration at poor play, if not a determination to battle for the team all the team. Now we have a team of individuals that dont want their own performance to be bad, but dont care about the team.

Is that a my favourite players list? Zokora not up to the fight? I know he is not everybody's cup of tea but the one thing he does do is work his socks off in every game! Yet you maintain that Bentley (which I kind of agree with) and Huddlestone (which I definately do not agree with) will come good? Bentley has been worse than bad in every way especially fight, and Huddlestone wouldn't know fight if it smashed him in the face.

Players like Bentley arent battlers, these guys will generally leave the field with thier shirts still lilywhite. However they will generally come out with a touch of class that could potentially swing the game our way.
The problem is clearly that we have tried to assemble a whole team of these types of player. Its easy to point the finger in these situations when its bad, however the club knew what they were getting when they were buying these players.

That is a good point - while bentley will not get stuck and chase every ball, close down and defend he could produce one piece of magic to create something - thats the difficult situation we are in we have to sacrafice some talent to ensure we stop conceding goals.

Well i disagree with you mate, i think Zokora lacks the technical ability to aid our relegation battle, doesnt matter if he shows alot of heart by running around if ultimately he gives away silly freekicks infront of the box and his runs produce no end result.

Huddlestone however was instrumental in our upturn in form when Redknapp first took over, it was his vision and passing ability that got us into the positions to score goals and that is invaluable to us as we have struggled for goals in the PL lately...

What i cannot and will not understand is how Zokora has not improved his shooting. Surely this is something he should be focusing on in training, and if so would improve.

What do players actually do in training, cos lennon has not improved his crossing either.
