ETA - its shaping up to look like Amos might get the start at Newcastle also, and KWP may start - depending on what Poch does with the CBs.

I am hoping they just did not travel and stayed behind to work on fitness, since they both missed everything up to the US tour.

I hope Sissoko is off but probably saved as a key player for the Newcastle game.

I am hoping they just did not travel and stayed behind to work on fitness, since they both missed everything up to the US tour.

Coming back from the USA this looks like an game not needed except that we might have to promote a couple of youngsters for a few games because of fitness/injury worries so seeing them play again will be useful to the coaching staff

Rose is not a starter
Toby is not a starter
Dembele is a spot starter this year - if he stays

Lloris, Trippier, Vertonghen, Dier, Dele, Kane all had busy summers. I am not worried about their fitness levels for the season. Pre-season is not going to impact their participation.
