It was mainly triggered by that basement plan, showing the suggestively pitch-shaped area where a pitch might be retracted - but with rows of heavy-duty piles under it, which would make no structural sense under a retractable pitch. Someone cribbed the drawing from the planning application on the Haringey website and posted it on Skyscrapercity, from whence it was copied here.
