interesting considering most think he is money motivated. He'd have got almost 2.5 times his Spurs wages and probably paid less tax on it..

I don't think there is a tax levied by the Qatari gov't. He would have made a shitload of money had he gone. I guess he's not the merc we thought he was?:(

Maybe he is not just a mercenary. I am sure he would be more popular if he just started scoring some goals.

Maybe because of his believe in what he termed as Muslim juju, he's afraid of going to a Muslim country.:)

Ade is comfortable. He isn't going to Qatar to sweat his balls off for however long.

After we're done with him, he can still slink around West Ham or Crystal Palace for 75k a week. He'll be in London until he retires.

Ok so he turned down £240k a week but that's only because he & his family are happy in London, according to this report.

So before we delete the mercenary tag, remember this decision still doesnt appear to be totally football related. if he wanted to play he'd have gone there, or even QPR if staying in London was important.

Don't believe a word of it. He's been sussed out by many sets of fans by now and this shouldn't mislead anyone. No quotes.
