McCarthy is a Martinez player , signed from his old club. Out of favour at Everton, struggling to get a place in the team. Schneiderlin on the other hand, is a top player , doing the biz for Saints and France on a regular basis..
IF we wont pay up for MS then I'd rather wait for the right player, rather the sign someone who cant get in a relatively struggling side, I just don't see McCarthy as an upgrade to our squad, certainly not on this seasons form.

Tottenham Tottenham Tottenham. We've all seen this before Tottenahm fail to get it's number one target compromises with at alternative player, within a period of time the fans realise the player isn't up to the job then the club ends up selling and so the circle continues. it is important that the club gets the number one target, in the long run, it works out cheaper and better for the club.
