As someone who studied marketing and branding, Spurs' youtube and twitter content is top notch, the only other teams worldwide that can compare are the Boston Bruins and the LA Kings (Both US hockey). Definitely ahead of the curve and I hope it continues.

To be fair it has improved massively - I remember plenty of moans only a few years ago about how shit the website was and our total lack of other web presence.

Would like to be able to subscribe to a proper Spurs TV though.

I think the only thing they could add to their content it that which is more timely. Player reaction after games, more day-to-day stuff about the club. We are pretty much there I would say in terms of publicising community projects etc. Run a few classic matches in between and you are laughing. What does MuTV fill its days with? Pretty much the stuff which is on SpursTV right? Just more of it, more often.

Does anyone else remember the original www.spurs.co.uk website in Sugar's time?

An absolute embarrassment.

It consisted of a couple of pages with just writing. There was nothing practical or interesting that you could do on it. Very little by way of useful info.

And no news at all other than a page which briefly summarised articles about Spurs in the press.

Ceefax, by comparison, was cutting edge.

It makes me laugh that he has a TV show, where he can fire people, at times.

We're kind of a big deal. People know us.

We have grown massively as a club since the Jol era. Our worldwide presence is increased tenfold. Just need to follow it with success on the pitch now.

As much as it pains me to say, Spurs' social media engagement is not a patch on Man City's YouTube and Twitter output. They are streets ahead of any other sports clubs I know. I suggest you have a look.

Well, clearly the people who judged this particular award don't agree with you.

Besides, I'm not interested in what City do. They chuck money at their social media operations in much the same way that they chuck money at their team. They are playing by different rules to the rest of us so are not a useful comparison.

That's just reminded me of this from last year:

I've never heard 'Jingle Bells' sound quite so threatening!

You need to chill out. Someone said Spurs are better than any other football club win in the world, in relation to social media. I simply gave an example of a club who does it better. You then jump down my throat.

I just googled "social media awards manchester city". They have plenty.

Social media isn't expensive much does it cost to run accounts on Twitter, Foursquare, Pinterest and Facebook? Making videos on Youtube is also hardly expensive when you take into account the revenue PL clubs raise.

Match day coverage is also excellent and the club provides detailed coverage of the first team, U21s and U18s.

While ours is decent we really could do better. Seems we have actually regressed since last year. Less live u21/u18 games and highlights which is disappointing especially since we have such a good youth team. Hopefully this will inspire the club to improve this.

WRT City don't know too much about the Social Media but I do like their tunnel cam. I heard however our stadium is too small to implement it or something

I'm perfectly relaxed, thanks.

And I have no interest in jumping down your throat. I merely replied to your post. Perhaps you're just overly sensitive?

Incidentally, there was something about your first post that seemed a little off to me. So I did a little google of my own.......okay, not a google but a quick look at your profile.

Pretty much all of your 47 posts have been on the subject of Manchester City, even in threads that had nothing to do with City. And pretty much each of them has argued some case or other on behalf City. Too much of a coincidence, I think, despite your attempts to disguise yourself as a Spurs fan.

Really, there's no need for you to hide. I'm pretty sure that you're allowed to post here as a City fan. I'd far rather that you were honest about it.
