Undoubtedly the players are being badly handled at some level - Ugo must be under threat at this point. But those you mention aren't the top top tier of talents such as CCV, KWP, Veljkovic, Onomah and the likes. They're probably that next tier down - in fact they're those who actually need Ugo more, as the top tier talents can make it in any case. The ones you mention are at a key point in their career where the decisions being made now could have a hugely negative impact on where their career ends up.

I'm not sure anyone could do more with this group of players. Miller is not a forward. Walkes is not an attacking midfielder. None of Amos, Georgious or Pritchard are left backs. Lesniak and Amos are not able to dictate in midfield. Our goalkeeper is in really bad form.

Goddard on Lesniak off, this will only work if we stay pushed up. Goddard can't travel with the ball, he's too lightweight and not quick enough. He influences the game in and around the box.

Shouldn't Ehiogu be looking at what u18 players could play where there isn't an u21 player - Loft as striker, one of Muscatt, Brown or Tsaroullo at LB etc. For whatever reason he's including Paul in the squad (even though Paul has not looked good in u18's) so he's aware of them,
