But suffice to say we are completely dominating them... And we have a game plan.

Liverpool #6 Abdi Sharif powers through midfield with a great run...gets stopped by the impressive Spurs defence. Spurs still lead 2-0 here.

Great play from Oduwa. to help create the goal. Dummied one of their players then charged into the box hit a ball across the box to help create the opportunity

85' GOAL: Oduwa with marvellous skill, stepovers into the box then cutting back - out to Tavernier, his shot in on the line by Miller.

pass to the assister, seems to have seen a lot of the ball

He also should have got an assist but it was ruled offside. He just attempted a rainbow flick on their player, all the tricks coming out.

Commentators just said remember the name

A number of us had opportunities to speak to the 4 backroom staff and it was indeed an illuminating experience.

The 4 were
1) John McDermott - Academy Manager and Head of Coaching
2) Will Antwi - Coach
3) Adam Paxton - Physio
4) Sam (didn't get his last name) - Sports Scientist

*just in: our committee got a whatsapp text from John McDermott thanking us for the experience yesterday*

Especially enjoyed the philosophy of the club in terms of leading the academy

"we want to develop people, not just football players. how to speak to people, conduct interviews, conduct themselves etc"

And how a 5 to 6 days overseas trip in competitive settings / the media / PR aspect will develop them both as a footballer and individual more than 5 to 6 weeks of work back in England will ever do.

Since when did Will Anti form part of the coaching setup?

Caught the last 15 mins of the Rangers game. They're going to love Oduwa there - should have created two goals (one wrongly chalked out for offside) and then an outrageous piece of skill to loft the ball over a guys head. Will tear that league up
