The date for the NextGen Series match v PSG still has to be announced, but most of the other ties are being scheduled on or about 20 February...but that's only just over a week away. Lastminutedotcom.

That's ridiculous!

Do Man Utd have a clash as well?

Yup.

Its a clash for supporters - but not for players. The FA Youth Cup being for u 18's so nobody playing in that game is likely to be wanted by u21's.

But certainly not the best piece of scheduling if the club wants supporters to follow youth team games !

Amazing, what time is K.O?

Cheers for your updates as ever SI - top notch.

Grrr. I was right first time - OS has not been updated for the change of match venue/time. But am reliably informed by several (unofficial) sources that OS is out of date and the ManU u 21 tie is indeed this Friday at 12.00

Followed by FA Youth Cup at WHL at 7pm.....

On-loan Peterborough winger Alex Pritchard is set to have a scan on an ankle injury sustained at the weekend.

Pritchard, who moved to London Road from Tottenham on transfer deadline-day at the end of last month, is nursing a knock following Posh's 2-1 home win over Leicester on Saturday.
He will undergo an X-ray on the ankle on Tuesday when Peterborough's medical team will decide on the best course of action.
Pritchard is on loan with Darren Ferguson's side until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has impressed for Spurs' youth and reserve sides but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Barclays Premier League club.

SAN JOSE -- The Earthquakes might have found a replacement for Simon Dawkins: another talented young attacking midfielder from Tottenham Hotspur.
San Jose is considering John Bostock, who made his professional debut in England at age 15, for another loan deal with the Spurs. Bostock began training with the Quakes last week, general manager John Doyle told this newspaper.

The team also expects to sign center back Nana Attakora, a starter with the Canadian national team.

Bostock, 21, was on loan with Swindon Town in England's League One through January. The Spurs have loaned him to English clubs since 2009.

Dawkins currently is on loan with Aston Villa of the English Premier League after playing the previous two years in San Jose. He wouldn't be available for Major League Soccer until the June transfer window if the Quakes could strike a deal with him. Dawkins resurrected his career in San Jose paving the way to his to return to EPL this season.

"We're not closing the door on Simon coming back," Doyle said. "In the meantime it would be nice to see how John likes us and we how we like him."

The Earthquakes have been looking for someone to replace Dawkins' skills but with the season starting March 3 their options were limited.

"There are more options out there," Doyle said. "We're being thorough in looking at them. We're making sure we make the right decisions on who comes in. If we don't bring in John or Simon we still have a good team."

Bostock, once one of England's most promising players, will travel with the Quakes this weekend to Portland for preseason games.

He was the youngest player to start for Crystal Palace at 15 and was captain of England's under-17 national team. But Bostock has not fulfilled that early promise having been loaned by the Spurs four times in five years.

Hmm. Bostock's contract runs out at the end of the season. He's not shown that he could do much pretty much after 12 months of joining. Cannot see Spurs renewing the contract so this could be the end of Bostock's time at Spurs.

I really wish spurs had a TV channel and would broadcast these games.

Can't help with the live broadcast, but here are some highlights from Liverpool TV, including formation/line ups. We looked really good in the first half, the second half was much more even.

IMO the Liveerpool camera work is much better than Spurs (you've possibly already seen the SpursTV u21 West Ham Game but if not )
