Not sure how this is going to work, if we do shift Aurier, that leaves KWP on his own to play right back for the opening games of the season with no other cover ...

I actually agree. I'm a fan of KWP but I don't think he's ready yet and certainly not ready to start - at this point I wouldn't mind an experienced head, even Dani Alves is beginning to look good

And he never will be unless we start playing him, he's 22.

Could Poch be thinking about playing with three central defenders and a wing back who is not a right back?

I like Foyth and saw some of his Copa games, but he has a lot to learn at RB. Teams would target him like they used to do with Walker except Foyth doesn't have the pace to recover and get himself out of trouble.

He did go forward in attack and was comfortable on the ball, but the likes of Brazil invited Argentina forward to hit them on the break.

I would just throw KWP in and see how he does. I really think from watching him play he has the overall ability to surpass Kyle Walker, may not have his pace but technically and tactically a superior player.

If there's belief among the staff, and with Poch particularly, that KWP is ready to start, then fair enough. That would be a bit odd given how overlooked hes been up to now. But I think we'll pay a heavy price if aurier and Davies get the most full back minutes this coming season.

To be fair KWP has started several games for us, unfortunately they've been at left back rather than right back. I think he has what it takes but needs the game time.
