Yes who is a centre half who can play defensive midfield and right back.. I'm talking about a right back who plays right back, no more square pegs in round holes
that would be fredericks then who i am guessing will play the 2nd half.

This is all far too easy, not sure what we can take out of it.

Capoue far and away the stand out again.

Soldado pretty neat and tidy but needs to work harder, in my opinion.

Some of the back four, individually, look ropey even in a training session, which is what this game effectively is.

Real shame that Adebayor's been laid low with malaria, would have loved to see him get some game time pre-season in the Pochettino system. Fair play to Soldado for his goal, but given that we're only going to be playing one striker next season I'd much rather play Ade than Bobby, so I wish he could be out there today learning with the rest of the team.

Sadly, my Mac PC just won't have any of this streaming lark so I'm having to rely on all your 'in play' comments. Sounds like Capoue is having one of his best games for us and is involved in everything. This is great news for us and of course, for him too, and long may it continue! We always knew there was a player in there somewhere. Maybe he's only just arrived and said 'Hi. My name is Etienne and I'm a footballer for Tottenham Hotspur'.

The America tour was for fitness, this seems to be for confidence and continued work on Poch's game. Some lovely interplay at times too. Even if it was from a rebound, Soldado scoring from open play can really help build his confidence again.

Hoping Sandro, Ade, Lamela and Eriksen all come on. Though Holtby has played really well for me, it's hard to see him getting many starts in the league.

One thing to consider - seeing as people are now screaming for Capoue and Holtby to start and for Sandro/Paulinho/Dembele to be immediately shipped out:

Could Poch have the same improving effect on those players as he has clearly had on the likes of Capoue and Holtby?

I think it'd be pretty stupid to start writing off players who have been our first choices for the last couple of years.
