But it wasn’t in line, the official image was ahead of play by some 20 yards or so.

This is why VAR is contentious and needs better guidelines. It’s not perfect. Just more perfect than a ref ?. At the end of the day if the ref gives or doesn’t give a goal, no matter what anyone thinks, it stands or doesn’t stand. I just thought it was a bit childish for Sarri to wave his laptop about like a toddler not getting their own way.

That still from the Chelsea media team looks very suspect. Definitely looked like kane was leaning in an offside position, ie. offside by his head.
Guess they don't understand the concept of perceived visual angles.

Looked the same from where I was sat. Obviously if you’re watching it from the comfort of your lounge you’ve got the pleasure of replays but from where I was sat in the stadium Lamela was very harshly treated.
Exactly, but obviously my observation was worthy of some neg reps.

Watching the “Debate” the presenter just asked “Were Chelsea Toothless in the box?” Absolutely

They did the same in the league game. Constant crosses into the box with no target man. How Sarri hasn't realised that doesn't work astounds me.

I think Poch’s last meeting with Fergie was to get sound advice on how to win games despite our opponents playing better.

These two legs are actually a great warm up for when the Champions League starts again and it’s knock out. Love the way we managed the game at times today to take the sting out of it. Hopefully we are finally learning. Still a long way to go in this one though.

To win this trophy we have to beat Chelsea (for the third time this season) and then better City. Glad we've won but, blimey, it's gonna be a tall order. Wins like tonight can do wonders for a teams belief though. Coys.
