Alas, a lot of the big teams in the PL employ tactics to con referees -
like Giggs for that late free kick late on.

Gomes was excellent today I thought MOM how ever was a close run thing with Dawson and Corluka. Dawson looked like the Dawson of a couple of seasons ago today, What a last minute tackle on Berbatov in the second half. Ohara looked very good again when he came on and also Lennon was good today. I thought Bentley did alright and was unlucky not to score another wonder goal. He does need to work on his tracking back though and tackling. Over all am very happy with a point!

Gomes, Daws and Zok for urine tests after the match.

They played out of their bloody skins todayEek

Zok kept "the best player in the world" in his pocket playing out of position, Dawson was man of the match and Gomes looked solid as a brick wall and actually inspired confidence. That to me is a lot more significant than a very good point.

nah mate zoko has been like a £20m signing the last 3 weeks.
long may it continue.

Well done to the team on hard earned point today. We scared ManUSA on few occasions and could have nicked it. I will have whatever Daws has started drinking recently, he is transformed from last season. Props to Zoko for his adaptability. And I have to say I thought BAE hardly put a foot wrong this time in his bored way.

What were the shennanigans on the touchline at the end? Looked like Harry and Fergie were having a snog under the mistletoe.

I'd have taken the point before the game, and it just goes to show how well we played when I'm disappointed we didn't win. Well done boys.

We could really do with a new striker though. A lot of our play breaks down when it comes to getting the ball to our strikers. We need someone of the quality of Keane/Berbs; roll on January.

The 'in' thing at the moment for the Man Yoo fans to say about Berba is he is the new Veron. Big money signing, keeps himself distant to other players and is keeping a fan favourite out of the side. I am sure he will start to produce for them but probably not until after Xmas then i am sure the same clued up fans will be praising him. Fergie has wanted him for a very long time and now he has the challenge of finding the right formation to suit him. I feel that certain players suit certain clubs and i think Berba was one of those at Spurs, along with the likes of Keano, Ginola, Gazza etc.

Fantastic performance from the defence. I've never been so sure that we weren't going to concede.
Everytime i mention this I get slated fromcertain people but where the hell was Jenas. With King not playing and Woodgate going off early with an injury he should have stood up and made an impact, set an example. especially after getting the armband when Woody went off. He was completely anonymous. Bentley didn't rreally perform either but at least he got a couple of shots in and was some use. I actually made a note of Jenas' contribution so I had the stats to back up my argument. He only made 12 sucessful passes with 4 of them going forward. He gave the ball away through a misguided pass or miscontrol 8 times. he only made one tackle and was only close enough to attempt to make a tackle 5 times. I could go on. Surley someone must realise that if we replaced him with someone better and who is used to playing in the premiership we could get results out of games like this.
