Yeah, I should add that our Back 4, without our 2 first choice CB's, and a CM at RB, played phenomally(sic) well!

that was a good team performance. well done to the lads there. they showed grit an determination to work for that point. me thinks we will be in top half come next sunday.

I prefer Zokora away from the midfield and he looked far more composed on the right even when going forward. put in some good crosses.

Will Woody be available for Thursday, with Corluka cup tied, King out only Dawson may be available, could play Zokora there mind you.

who gives a **** were through.

Really chuffed with the lads, well dug in and a well well earned point.
However, i was getting very frustrated with our left hand side...as well as lennon maruaded up and down it, everytime BAE got the ball he just lumped it downfield while thats not spefically his fault, how much possesion did we relinquish =/

strange game very scrappy - - well done the back 5 - vital point

keeps us moving up the table

incidentally we're nearly through in UEFA, but it isn't certain yet

Daws and zokora could probably do a job for us if necessary on Thursday

Hi2u2DC-B.

Next thing you will remember the yellow Spurs socks with the White shirts/white shorts, the commentator on the radio mentioned them !

Good team performance, especially the whole defence. Thought Lennon was a threat going forward, really has found his form since Harry took over.

4 clean sheets in the last 6 matches!!

Well done Gomes.

Everything has already been said ie the great defence, and Gomes was brilliant. Take Rio and Vidic out of the centre of Utd's defence and see how they get on. My main worry is Bentley, who looks out of shape from what he was like at Blackburn. He looks so much slower than when he played for them and looks heavier. And what is with these short corners?!?!? Just get the ball in the box!

Absolutely delighted with the performance today. Dawson, Zokora, Gomes and Ekotto were all superb and Lennon looked a threat throughout.

I thought Modric was poor first half but in the second half showed a lot of quality and if anyone was going to make something special it was Luka.

Bentley was frustratingly poor again. He's had 2 excellent seasons in a row for Blackburn and I know the quality is there but hopefully Harry can work out where his problems lie and start getting more out of him.

:) TCO - nope don't remember that - but I do remember we had an injury crisis (fancy that) and a very weakened defence I believe -

I think Dennis Bond played that night - can't remember if he had a good game or not

Shit game, good point.

Bentley, was, once again, woeful... and our CM was pretty much anonymous...

Let's not forget that we started the CM pairing as Zokora and Jenas; then Jenas and Hudd; then Hudd and O'Hara. Given that and the fact that our central defensive pairing changed too i thought we did pretty well. It was just a shame that we seemed to keep conceding posession so easily once we got into the last third.

We had the best chances by far and would have loved to get that 1-0 win. The only downside for me is that Bentley once again flattered to deceive after a reasonable start to the game and neither Pav or Bent looked like they were ever going to hold up the ball for our midfield to support them.

Defence was excellent and i echo much of the positive comments made earlier in this thread.

I actually thought Huddlestone and then O'Hara did a good job at breaking up many a United attack. Jenas was poor again though.

Zokora was magical. Real Madrid can fuck off
