In the pre-season games I've watched so far it seems that we're keeping the ball better in the opposition half, I just hope we can do this in the PL with the higher tempo and closing down. Think we must start with Bent up top on his own and 3 attacking mids behind. But let's wait and see what Ramos does formation wise, he'll probably start like we did today. Guess it would be hard for him to change it.

Well, he hasn't really been tested so far. I think it's anyone's guess whether it'll be him, Bale or Gilberto starting against Boro.

Disagree. I think the team that started today will be the team that starts against Boro.
BAE has been played at LB more than any player so far, Bale had 45 mins there today, but I can't see him starting.
I know most people on here really want Bale to start there though.

1. Berby went home at halftime.
2. Assou-Ekotto spent the whole of the 2nd half on the subs bench with an ice pack on his knee and Modric did the same for about 30 minutes after he came off.
3. Nothing new, but gossip from chatting to WHL staff is its clear we are going to stay at WHL as and when we rebuild.

i was watching on a korean channel and they were going on and on abou the new signings and how well spurs were playing and how well everyone was fitting in. the commentators mentioned all the one touch passing and exclaimed, "spurs are playing really attractive fooball!......they look just like arsenal:???:
