Defoe being captain.... hmm... does that mean he has signed a new deal or does it mean this is his last game cos we have a deal in place for him to leave

Uhh, all these people saying "Defoe is captain" where exactly was this mentioned????

Really hope Rose comes on and scores, if only so we gets to see some crazy arsed celebrations

I think we might regret it if Hudd plays at the back. Defoe as captain is a strange one especially when Daws and Jenas are on the pitch.

Good news is that Richardson has knackered his hamstring. He was mustard against Pompey.

But Hudd at CB?

Needless to say, no line-up on the official site. Is it really, really that difficult?

I'd do it. Gissa job.

But Hudd at CB?

We had some early ITK (whatever that now means) about Ramos seeing Hud's longterm future at CB. Perhaps he's decided to give it a try today. I can't say I fancy him & Daws against Kenwyne Jones, but I hope to be proved wrong...

Only King and Gardner of all our CBs can deal with Jones's pace, and he's got a heck of a jump on him. As I said, he was a real handful for Judas and Distin last week. Jenas or Bong is going to have to provide some dedicated protection.
