That's the best half of football I've seen us play in a long time and of course we go in level FFS
Been an absolute joy to watch. Regardless of the result this is the way. The people complaining about our 4 fullbacks struggling to defend like proper cb's are moaning wankers. The football when we haven't been kicked to hell has been awesome

I don't see how that changes anything really.
Unless Emery makes changes it should be the same pattern.

We should be out of sight, but for poor finishing and final ball.

But are creating so easily.

Villa also look like they can score anytime they put the ball in though.

Only thing i can see threatening us is tiredness from players not having enough minutes in their legs.

That is an unacceptably poor goal to concede. Lateral free kick from absolutely miles out and Torres is able to win an uncontested header and loop it in from about 5 yards. So, so bad.

Shame about the equaliser, annoying to see Villa equalise as they've looked so shit too.

Always a game where we need to take our chances and be a few goals up with our defensive frailties.

I’m concerned about the power Gil can generate with his spindly little legs, a few passes have been horribly under hit
Yea his physicality has always been a bit of a concern. Still only 22 and time to bulk out a bit more for sure so let’s be patient with him as he has pace and good passing just needs a run of games but agree his physicality is a possible concern like when shooting etc can he generate enough power. Otherwise he’ll need to be very accurate in everything he does.

Stopped going for it after we went 1 up. Still a long way to go to change the mentality of the team. Get a goal up and then be cautious.
