Big risk from Ange, especially up against a stable team in villa where the players are all familiar with their roles. But I think the fans will appreciate his boldness, however it goes today.

Really looking forward to seeing that middle three. They are all hard working so i don’t think it will be a push over. Only concern is running out of steam in the 2nd half.
That is rightly a concern with several players on very little/no minutes, with no real like for like alternatives.

Genuinely excited about this match as almost anything could happen.

We wanted a more attacking manager, well here he is.

Even if this lineup doesn't work, massive credit for changing things from the last game. Our last few managers would have just stuck with the same line up and moaned about it. I'm loving Ange in charge.

It would be amazing if people could keep on clapping after the official minute's applause is over today

There are a lot of things to admire about Ange, but one of the best is his signalling. This might all go wrong today, but he's telling everyone from the players to the fans that we are no longer going to be passive, even in the grip of one of the worst injury/suspension crises of recent years.

Either you buy in to this, or you don't have a future here.

Given the parameters of Ange not compromising tactical I think this actually makes the most sense. Reality is PEH whilst not an awful player just doesn’t suit the system. Ange has obviously decided to go with a line up with the most amount of players that can technically play his system rather than shoehorning technically limited players into it. Yes we might loose but we have see what happens when the likes of PEH and Dier start a game, they are just far to limited and we struggle to control the ball in the middle of the pitch. I don’t think ether way is less risky and if anything I can see the logic more with this line up especially as we are home.

Taking the game to Villa is the only way we get anything out of this.
