We've been absolutely fantastic we just have no fucking defenders lol. We have about 4 first teamers fit and absolutely battered high flying villa, honestly other than put the ball in the net I'm not sure what else we could have done.

We play some outstanding football all over the pitch…except inside the opposition’s box. We must be up there with the worst in the league for decision making. We pass when we should shoot and shoot when we should pass. It’s so bad.

Matty cash took Doherty out and he was sidelined for a while and now he does the same with Bentancur who was bossing the midfield.

Bit of a kick to the cock with their goal but the ball from Luiz was perfect.

Still in this. The team have played well and have created things, just need to time those runs.

I love his attitude and bravery but there will come a time when Ange realises you have to change the game and take fewer risks in certain moments, like just before half time. The whole team is learning and a work in progress, including him.

Whatever. Not playing your only recognised central defender is incomprehensible and inexcusable. For all his tactical nous, Ange is costing us points two weeks in a row. We were lucky with the Watkins call, but now I'm not sure we're getting anything from this game.
I want to say this is sarcasm because everyone has called for Dier to be dropped and then he did. If people now moan that Dier's height is missed then Ange can't win either way.

All of these injuries are going to make getting a result tough.
Even with the ultra positivity going forwards. That central core of Hojbjerg, Davies and Emerson is going find themselves second best.
Emerson and Davies can do fine as long as they don't have to handle crosses

Royal has done fuck all wrong. Certainly not the reason they scored. Your post makes zero sense.

If you think Dier is the answer I have no idea what the question is.

We have 11 men still, they have a TON of yellows and were up against the ropes and took a beating that half, they landed one punch but we are a better fighter let’s dust ourselves down go out agressive again and let’s win this game,

I have enjoyed seeing Gil get a start. He hasn't been superb but he hasn't been bad. A lot of energy and good for the high press. Shame he seems obsessed with cut backs

The difference on the ball between Bentancur and Højberg is night and day. The ability to take the ball on the half turn and play quick forward passes just isn’t in Hojberg’s wheelhouse. He’s done some good pressing and winning the ball back, but you can see the drop in tempo since he came on. Suddenly, Davies and Emerson are a lot more tentative and a half se come slower to move the ball without the safety valve of Bentancur/Bissouma in front of them

"The last five goals Spurs have conceded have come in stoppage time at the end of a half.

But Villa have been limited to set pieces and clogging us? The game is still there to be won.

Biggest thing in sport . Momentum. We've had ours ripped from us again .

Hope you're right buddy x
