Let’s take the positives: we have so many injuries and Ange still finds a way for us to play like this. What a manager.

I have enjoyed seeing Gil get a start. He hasn't been superb but he hasn't been bad. A lot of energy and good for the high press. Shame he seems obsessed with cut backs
Disagree that Gil hasn’t been bad. He’s gotten into good positions but has wasted all of them, and his weakness on the ball is the reason Villa is level. I’m incredibly frustrated with him.

That should have been a penalty too ffs. You know Arsenal would have gotten all these decisions

5.5 games now where the opposition are allowed to kick us off the pitch. Cash, Kamara and McGinn could all be off.

What Ange is doing with these players is amazing.
Disgusting that Cash is still on the pitch. He did a similar thing to Matt Doherty a few years ago and put him out for the season. Thugs like him should be called out.

Shame, should be going ahead. Played some great stuff but do feel at times it's a bit too frantic. There's quite a few young, energetic and eager players out there and at times just feels needs a calm head just to settle things down somewhat.

Should really have scored 2 as Deki should have put that early chance away. As for their equaliser, it was a brilliant delivery but aerially our CB's are mismatched with the threat they carry from set pieces.

I'd like to see a stat of how many goals have been scored in VAR added time and how the increased added time affected the final score (what was the result after 90 plus 1 or 2 minutes as opposed to 8 plus minutes we have seen)

He's done little wrong, but his position is not what the set up requires. The gaps in front are widening from the midfield as he's always closer to the CBs that his other two midfield partners. He thinks by retreating the first time the ball comes to him he's helping in recycling, when he has the ability to break the line forward but he seldom does so. We are so effective when he's not playing because Biss and Bentancur are superb in doing that. Now we will constantly be pinned back. Is no coincident the play became so backward when he played against Wolves and the moment he's on. He could have just take the attacking approach, really, and we will be fine. Until that happens, we need more moments of magic to score now.
Agree but we have GLC & Kulu as 8’s so I think we still have enough creativity along with Porro, Udogie, Johnson and Gil to all feed Sonny.

Why does it seem we're battling against some kind of, I don't know, just 'something'?

Every match lately seems to be the same. Bossing games, playing really positive football, creating loads of chances, and then, 'something' happens. If it's not in inexplicably bad challenge by one of our players, it's one by theirs causing an injury, or just a random hamstring, or a goal from the oppo's only shot.

It's frustrating as fuck, because I've absolutely loved what we're doing.

they don’t wanna see us win

The fact that we're talking about a missed penalty when VAR is fully operational is madness.

Why on earth are people on this thread moaning? It's been an incredible performance given we're playing no CB's and completely changed our midfield and have had our best mid off with injury

we will almost certainly lose this game but who gives a shit? This is the way. It's the future and it's fucking exciting. We are so fucked with injury it's all about culture and system and belief and that's been on display in spades.

STOP FUCKING MOANING AND SUPPPORT

Love watching us play, exciting to think what we could become with a fully fit squad and another transfer window.

Thought we were great going forward but struggling to score.

always vulnerable from headers with that back line. Think we need to score 3 to win.

Porro’s brain farts are a worry. Seems to unsettle the whole team, like against Chelsea
