And to think people were trying to claim we’ve been lucky this season. I’d argue we’ve been incredibly unlucky - still no pens this season despite another blatant one (that should have been a red as well). Massive injury list. Hitting the woodwork for fun. We got one decision, but have had loads go against us

I had no belief we’d do anything from that free-kick but even I was slightly surprised to see none of our players within ten yards of where it went.

Been as predicted though, more tired seccond half. We have one tactic and that is al out, we will need to score 3-4 in games like this, Villa been tactically good in seccond half, tightning up more and dropped their high line

The issue for me isn't that he won't change his way of playing it's that he keeps playing players that can't play this way. If we are going to be brave then let's be brave, at the moment it think it's half arsed bravery.

I love a swashbuckle but if you haven’t got the players for it then adaptation is needed. Otherwise.

come out of the blocks great.
get ahead.
run out of steam
Have no subs to really change
Lose at home.

Ange is great and I love the contrast to days gone by. This tho is a diff beast to any other league he’s been in. Plan B is needed.

Not having the negativity. Three offside goals, the Johnson stretch and that Davies chance! One of those days.
Does feel a bit like that. Some of the game has shown a lot of positives. Few players not quite at it still and areas where we are work in progress.

The offsides frustrating, some of the delivery poor.

Disappointing but not doom and gloom by a long way

It's evidently a work in progress here.

Much to admire about how progressive we play - especially considering the low base from last season - but it's clear there's a real problem in how profligate we are in and around the opposition penalty box.

Still very much positive over the direction we are going in though.

Team choice was perfect today. Not Angela's fault that Matty Cash is a ****.
Disagree. I don't think Emerson and Davies was a good choice for CBs in a back four. Use actual CBs even if it's youngsters. Still too many square pegs in round holes.

Indeed nothing at all to do with luck.
The failure to give us a blatant pen and nailed on opposition red card is though. So is that utter shit Matty Cash kicking Bentancur off the pitch then surviving a very bookable second challenge. So it hitting the inside of the post twice. None of the offsides were that close and at two were avoidable, but everything else has been bad luck

So depressing we have so many weak players who couldn't deputise the injured. They really can't complain for not playing, because they are fucking unsuitable to play.
