Not sure how we lost that!
Ngl - 4 straight losses is not acceptable
Is this some sort of joke? If it is, I'm not getting it.Ben Davies in a high line playing CB is the reason we lost that game.
Also there is no god
Is anyone doing both?People can complain we're too naive or they can complain we bought Skipp on; you really can't do both.
That's the big frustration. I've no doubts we would have won each of the last 3 games without these injuries.Lots of negativity obviously as losing always hurts but there’s no way we’d have lost these games with a proper squad to pick from. As we’ve known since the summer we need another few windows to get players for this system so all we can do is suck it up and get behind the team. If anyone let us down it was the board not signing another CB when it was obvious what we needed but we can do nothing about that now so let’s just pray that we don’t lose anyone else long term between now and January.
In isolation it was a ridiculous sub but I think it was a piece of bigger picture man management to try to keep him on side a bit. He should however have brought Donley on along with Veliz. I'd have taken Son off who was tiring.I can understand not starting them I can't understand why they aren't getting minutes at the end when we are chasing the game. If I'm Jamie Donley doing what I am in the 21's and for England, I'm wondering if I'm ever getting the chance when Skipp is coming on in front of me when we have to score.
I’m not sold on Johnson. He never looks composedJury is very much out for me on Johnson, we looked a lot more threatening early on in the season with Richarlison.
more pressure on attackers to score? Knowing that they have to take them with that backlinehow does that explain the 2 or 3 goals we shouldve scored?
@Trix your absolutely childish habit of putting funny ratings on things you disagree with really is a bit pathetic. What exactly is funny about my comment, or what do you even disagree with? You think it was lucky VAR missed the elbow, or that Bentancur got injured? The failure to give us a blatant pen and nailed on opposition red card is though. So is that utter shit Matty Cash kicking Bentancur off the pitch then surviving a very bookable second challenge. So it hitting the inside of the post twice. None of the offsides were that close and at two were avoidable, but everything else has been bad luck
Might save this and we will have to seeSurely we’ll beat Everton at home on 23rd Dec
Gio was blowing and presumably Ange wanted to preserve him for what will be a testing December fixture list - especially in light of Bentancur's injury today.
Skipp may well be moved on in January who knows but as we still had Johnson, Deki and Johnson on the pitch, it was very unlikely Donley was being brought on at that point.
The elbow in the face on Gil, after Kulu hit the post. It’s not even debatableWhat's this blatant penalty you keep talking about, I must have missed it?
