Completely agree - I felt really sad for Davinson, utterly moronic from a large section of the fan base and totally indefensible.
Noticed Forster give him several pats on the knee whilst Davidson sat there head in hands. Top man. The fans that boo’d him should piss off to Chelsea and feel at home there.

Davidson is just another fall guy for the complete shit show Levy has caused.

If Sanchez deserved that what does Levy deserve? It’s a ridiculous waste of time to turn on someone who is nothing more than a fringe player who probably wished he left years ago. People need to save the vitriol for Levy, someone who is actually damaging the club every day of the week.
Sanchez absolutely did not deserve that but when you have a stadium full of tourists on a day trip following what they see on social media, this is what happens. There used to be a football club over there…

Especially as next season Newcastle will be solidifying their position, Man U will be better, Liverpool will be better and Chelsea will be better. It may be our best chance of a CL spot.
That said if Kane goes we've no chance anyway so doesn't matter a jot.
I'm all for trying to win it but we currently have a shit squad and no manager with little to no hope of winning it.

The small amount of money we'd make by doing it, to me, isn't worth the disruption it causes for the new manager. A season of just league games may be just what we need.

If we had a settled decent squad and manager already in place then yeah, go for it.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how so called “coaches” can stand there on the sideline and think that bringing Sanchez on was the correct decision.

It was the most ridiculous decision I’ve seen in a very very long time. It’s been clear for the entire season that our players do not like this formation, we sack the manager and yet still play this same nonsense week in week out.

We have a bunch of clowns at centre back, and absurdly look to be rewarding one of them with another 3 year deal!

Honestly have no idea where we go from here. Do we sell Kane, put Richy up top and sign Maddison and hope they can keep the goals coming and then sign defenders who can defend and a keeper that can actually stop a shot?

All I know is that I’m done this season, I’m done with this team, this management team and the way we play. It’s fucking pathetic.

It's not losing today's game that concerns me as that can happen. It's the fact I am not at all surprised that we lost. What's happening to our great club?
We need a statement from the owners acknowledging the current issues, and clarification about the DoF situation, our new manager recruitment process and the direction the club are going in going forward. We can then draw a line under this season and understand the plan and where we are heading

Both are plodders need bents and bissouma back as soon as poss
Skipp isn't.

Some players can stand out in any midfield. Bentancur is one of those because of his sublime technical ability.

Some need a proper role. Skipp in a 3 will be very good, he has a lot of important qualities.

But he's playing alongside a clogger and Skipp isn't a light agile player either.

He is better than people give him credit though.

Id have ditched Hojbjerg and gone with Sarr and Devine for rest of season

Sack Stellini off and give it to Mason for the remaining games with the express instruction that he bins 343 immediately.
Everyone keeps demanding that Levy stays out of footballing decisions...now he's supposed to dictate what formation the manager plays? 🤷‍♂️

Mason is about to go on leave. Might as well let the kit man have a go.

He's right.

Conte's system has taken a lot out of this team.

So much so that some are shadows.

Some of them aren't good enough but a lot of them have proven to be good enough.

They just had good coaching and a stable system
