Another bonkers game but equally another valuable 3 points gained despite the ongoing uphill battle against injuries.

Squad tested to the max right now and new recruits are a must and needed ASAP.

But 1 point behind City and Arsenal, 3 off top - I think we have done remarkably well to be where we are right now.

A better second half. We passed the ball much better. In the first half sloppy passing at the back helped Bournemouth create a lot of chances and the inability of the front 3 to hold the ball up made us impotent in attack.
A good win against a very in form team.
Over the 90+ minutes I thought Udogie was our most consistent player - he made 3 vital interceptions in the first half.
Although I still think he’s a bit lightweight Johnson put in a couple of great first time crosses in, the second of which gave Richarlison his goal. More of that please.

that's what our great start to the season afforded us. We all knew that we were going to hit serious road blocks, but we just have to keep chugging, this season unlike the last i'd say 6 feels like its truly a marathon not a sprint.

Salah will be gone at Afcon (i think right?) we will lose players, players will continue to get hurt for everyone, this is where we need to be really smart and continue to chip away at this table, you never know, if we get to the end of the season where we finish with like 3 out of 4 matches against top 6, there could be some crazy changes to the top end of the table then.

Except the multiple youngsters we regularly start matches with like Udogie, VDV, Sarr, Johnson… 🙄
I'd add Kulusevski (23), Skipp (23), Porro (24), Emerson (24) & Solomon (24) to that list.

He's also choosing to regualrly use Veliz (20) as a sub, but not Phillips. Age doesn't seem to be the reason.

The average age of our starting XI (best team, not today's team) is 24.8, and I would argue that only Son has peaked, so it's not like our manager is relying on experience. Our bench is generally pretty young too, with Davies (30), Dier (29) & Hojbjerg (28) often the only subs who aren't in their late teens / early 20s.

To go from playing some really poor, backs to the wall football, to fighting it back and winning pretty comfortably, especially with lots of players considered “deadwood”, is credit to Ange. He’s obviously achieved some huge buy-in with the entire team.

Fantastic result, done on fumes.
Great effort, especially with em dropping like flies. Just need us to hang in around that top 4 until we get these players back.

3pts! Goons losing! COYS!!

I'm going to keep saying it, probably till he retires but we should have bought Scott.
I think he's definitely in the right place for his development. He's showed that he can step up to this level
