If the Caicedo offside goal was onside would Romero have been sent off for a foul but no penalty?

How did Sterling not get booked tonight? Two clear and obvious dives to try and win penalties and a few fouls.... Bissouma was sent off after 1 dive the other week.

I do appreciate the argument that people are making about what could have been had we not gone with the high line still.

However, to dare is to do was well and truly coursing through the club tonight.

I am devastated. We have had 3 points in our pocket. Now Romer is banned for 3 games, VDV is injured for 2 months. We don't have the defenders to play the high line. Udogie misses the next game. With our bench, it is a complete disaster
The mentality I saw from the players today is light years away from what we were last season. Those that came on did very well and I would say that this is a result of Ange.
I feel a little confident that we can get back on track next game, even with key players out.

Proud of the team tonight just a shame Romaro/Udogie cost us. Add in the injuries that could really hurt us. The real test of character is now away to Wolves which is likely to be a second string defence that can be got at. Suspensions and injuries couldn't have been much worse from this will need some more Ange magic from here as how he plays doesn't suit Dier that's for sure still got to believe COYS!

5-0 at Newcastle with 11 men under those jokers last season.

look at how the mentality has shifted with Ange, along with the style. and still so much more potential.

this is going to be really fun.

Random thought and question. Sterling's goal was rightly ruled out for handball. Why wasn't the Palace one disallowed last week?

So am I right in saying that Sky confirmed that VAR didn’t send off Bruno for Newcastle because he hit with his forearm and not his elbow?

Can we get some audio for the James elbow please?
Laces not studs argument I guess
