Yes, The Palace Journo who started this should be ashamed, I am also sorry that I had heard on another site the wrong news and shared it on here.
I feel for the fans who will miss the game today due to this.
Totally agree, its absolutely shambolic, the whole thing.

Apparently the 5 with positives are Ferguson, Guehi, Gallagher, Olise and Benteke.
Of course you don’t wish it upon them but purely footballing wise that’s pretty good for us, guehi and Gallagher 2 big players and olise and benteke can be a handful.

I'm not sure how satisfying it will be if we were to beat a severely depleted Crystal Palace team.

An element of kicking a dog when it's down about it.

The integrity of the competition is being tested to it's limits here.
I agree if I’m honest I think the integrity of the competition is getting messed up. But then I felt that about the league when it was suspended (Liverpool fans won’t like this) but for me the title they won is compromised.

Fascinated to see what the Palace team is. Expect a keeper up front and Neil Shipperley out of retirement after the chaos that journo caused.
Probably field 'The Team of the Eighties' - as long as we double up on Vince Hilaire and prevent Kenny Sansom bombing up and down the left I'm sure will create enough chances to put a few past John 'Budgie' Burridge

3 points is 3 points if we win, hopefully by 4 or 5

We had a depleted team and a poor manager earlier in the season at Selhurst so hopefully redemption time, today.
I have to confess I was one of the few who voted Nuno, what do I know ?

The easier we win the better it is for my health and wellbeing

Palace suspect more positives.
More like 'Palace praying for more positives."
Personally I dont give a shit we're playing a depleted team. Good. Hope we thrash them.
Pretty sure they wouldn't give a flying fuck were the shoe on the other foot.

Great news it's on, so pleased for my nephews kids they can go. Quite a few relatives are going, always been a bit of a family vibe about Boxing Day games

Any news on who Palace are missing?
The players that are consistently mentioned seem to be Benteke, Olise, Eze, Ferguson and Guehi. Some people have also mentioned Hughes and Gallagher but the other 5 seem to be the ones listed most.

Ferguson hasn't played a minute in 18 months, Eze is injured and Olise isn't a nailed starter, so it's hardly like their first team is ruined. Seems perfectly fair to go ahead if those are the only cases.
