Think it's a bit rich of Scott to be angry at the short notice, but I guess he's only doing what he should be doing in trying to protect his club.

I hope this is on amazon as it was meant to be originally. 2 live games on TV in one week. Haven't had that luxury since forever it seems!
Its live on Prime tomorrow (y)

Could be a banana skin. Fulham are mightily pissed off about this late rescheduling and could come out fighting, and Spurs thinking it'll be an easy 3 points.

More to the point, this Fulham are not the same Fulham who got relegated. That was a naïve, lightweight Fulham, devoid of defensive organisation and prone to collapse after going behind.

This Fulham are managed by Scott Parker.

Team that has had a Covid outbreak and could be suffering from the after effects. They will also be less prepared I guess as they have had less time to put into specific tactics for beating us. Then again, I'd assume they'd have done their homework and drills prior to the original match date.

I'm with Jose though. We can't just keep missing fixtures and then be forced to cram them in at a later date. This stops that from happening.

Fulham wont be push overs but if we play to our full potential we should win. If we were to win and also against Sheffield, we would be nicely tucked in behind the leaders in this race.

4-0. A surprisingly fluid and attacking performance from us. COYS.

Bring on those optimistic votes!

Hopefully we have our blip behind us and have a bit of that winning feeling back in the squad after 3 wins in a row. Leeds performance was far improved in that we went for them, so I expect the same. We should be refreshed considering the changes vs marine and if we start with some urgency, I can see Fulham having a tough evening. I’m sure Jose will be telling them how crucial this game in hand is, and would take us up to 3rd, a point behind Liverpool and 4 behind united, with them to play each other this weekend.

Agree, i think if Jose had not kicked up they would not have swapped the games around.
One doesn't know these things for sure , but I also suspect there may be something to this .

We have always accepted the worst outcomes from the authorities meekly imo . Great to have someone who loudly refuses to accept unjust outcomes , a first in 50 yrs supporting Spurs .

I don't believe all the nonsense coming out of FFC. They are ready to play today, they are a professional football club. Coaches will do some prep and talk to the players, thats it. I feel Fulham are playing double bluff here. All set pieces will have been sorted regardless who they play-their mind set will be engraved being bottom feeders and playing a top 4 team. We mustn't get pulled into the nonsense. They are aggrieved because their week off has disappeared-tough.

Fulham didn’t win one match in all of December. Granted they also didn’t lose one, but they didn’t have any big team I think. I agree they are better organised than before, but they don’t seem to have the ability to score a whole lot.

Veľká vďaka, ako vždy, za diskusiu o zápase @Bulletspur

That's Slovak, a West Slavic language - part of the Czech-Slovak group. It's spoken by about 5 million people and is, as the grouping suggests, very closely related to Czech - to the point of a very high intelligibility level between speakers of the two languages.

Let's get the three points today! COYS!

Fulham have played 19 games we have played 29 games and Parker is asking for sympathy well he should not hold his breath .
So games being cancelled at short notice and games rearranged at short notice dear me you would think we was in the middle of a pandemic and there should be give and take to allow for circumstances as they arise .
Parker would be quite happy for spurs to have another game cancelled to accommodate Fulham as their players are not isolating properly and it would be sensible to help a club in two competitions over a cub in four competitions .

The backroom staff will have done all their prepwork before the game on Dec 28th and all of it will still apply for tonight's game.

They should just be glad there's a game on and it doesn't get postponed till even later in the season. I accept that the ideal outcome would've been a decision before the weekend so Parker could've changed his mind about what he wanted to do in the cup match but that's only a very minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things.

They lost 2-0 to City and drew 1-1 with Liverpool at the beginning of the month. They also beat Leicester at the end of November.

I don't think Parker is being a twit. He's just trying to look out for the interests of his club which may help to influence future decisions, similar to what Jose does for us. As you say, he doesn't really have much grounds to complain in this instance but its part of the mind-games and may mean he gets a favourable call the next time around.
