Much preferring the 4 at the back and all out attack - we need to get more attackers on the pitch generally and use the 433 formation with a CDM (Dier, Dembele, Wanyama) behind Eriksen and Alli in the middle. Players like Lamela, Moura, Son, and Kane are freed up then in the front 3 to just create and score and press as needed. We could score a lot of goals this season....!

I'm sorry the lad is so overrated and the amount of crap that was spouted last season about him. He scored goals and did sod all else.

Foden and Sancho are both far better players then him.

I know we’ve changed it up and the players are fresher than if they started but did we need 6 defensive players against Fulham? Put on some more technical footballers and suddenly we’ve gone up a level and look like a proper team again

I think the idea was to stretch them using wing backs, which therefore creates the need for a stronger defensive unit to sit back and cover. It can work with the right personnel and I like the idea of it. Unfortunately Trippier and Davies haven't been at their best and Dier isn't mobile enough to cover spaces, combine that with Fulham's attacking intent and we've struggled with it.
I think Wanyama is more suited to this system than Dier as his positioning and mobility are better.
