- Toby in. Interesting, Poch didnt need to do that. Rehabilitated?

- Davies over Rose 2 games running. Maybe some truth in these PSG rumours. Would be livid if Poch is planning on rotating Davies with KWP for this season.

- Dier the only CM, unless Eriksen slots in. I recon this'll be more of a midfield diamond, with Moura at the top. Not sure how well that'll go given how ineffecive he was in the middle last week.

- Overall pretty odd looking lineup, but a great 11 to have on the pitch. Interested to see how this goes.
Davies has had a full pre-season. Danny has returned from the WC where he looked pretty unfit, and had little pre-season, and no game time.

Also Davies had quite a good record when playing in the LWB role last season IIRC.

Wife and kids at her Nan's, can sit back and enjoy the game. One problem I've been throwing up all day! If we lose today and I'll be sick...

Anyone still need a stream? Pm me and I'll sort you out.

Lets hope that is the case. Encouraging Rose is at least on the bench.

Personally I've never been convinced by Davies/Tripps as our WB pairing. Neither of them get in behind, too easy to shut out. Tripps is great when paired with a pacey LB like Rose, or Sonny in a WF role

So, so happy with that team. I think that's our best available team on paper and the formation we should stick with this season. COYS!

I’m pleased that the back 3 is still in Pochettino’s plans. It frees us up from rigidity against defensive teams.

Excellent lineup. Hope to see Trip and Davis pushed up the field with Eriksen playing more of a deep playmaker.

Hopefully our passing gets a lot better without Sissoko and Aurier...

No complaints over reverting to that system at all and even better is that Poch didn't look to implement a Dier and Dembele CM duo.

Not necessarily expecting vintage football as there will still be ring rusty post-WC players but this is a step in the right direction for sure.
