I think we deserve to be in the lead, and we've had enough chances, but Fulham have also had moments where they could have scored, and in general I think this 3-5-2 (or 5-3-2 if you prefer) has been an absolute load of bollocks. Like we're copying the England world cup tactics, right down to Alli in central midfield and trying to turn a wide forward into a central striker. It's not helping us with the build up, it doesn't help certain individuals, and it's not helping us to press either.
Yes it's only week two, I don't think any football fan expects their team to be at 100% at this point, but I think that's been a really messy half of football.
Respectfully disagree. Eriksen has dropped in to midfield as often as Alli in this game, and we used this tactic a lot in the past, particularly 2016/17. We've looked coherent and have controlled the game. Everyone seems to know their role except Moura who has scored despite not always knowing where to be on the pitch.
Fulham have looked dangerous with balls in behind, but that's always the case with us and our press/high line.
Certainly a better performance than last week....
