Only complaint was I wish we brought on Winks after we scored the third goal so he could get a longer run in.

Same thing could be said for Bale; look how well he did. Sessengon has got pace and did gave our defence some problems. JOnly he did it in spurts, and disappears for long spells.

Stylistically very different. I'm sure he will become a great player, but he will never be the kind of player who rips teams apart like that. More about clever touches, less about running at people (something Bale always did). Sess uses his pace to run into space, rarely to take people on.

We're starting well, as we usually do, but then 30 mins in we're letting the opponents into the game. Subbing Sanchez and playing with Toby and Jan plus Dembele open up the game for us. Great win in the end and 6 out of possible 6 is a great start

This is why I stick to my opinion about not playing 3 at the back at home against teams like Fulham. As soon as we reverted to 4, we destroyed them. We needed that extra midfielder in Dembele to actually take back control over the game.

We controlled it for 45 minutes with 3 at the back.

Dembele firstly and then lamela completely threw fulham off and changed the game. Was at the game and ut was so obvious that trips held the key today.
Davies got better in second half. Very very impressed with lamela. Hes so different compared to alli kane and eriksen. He needs to start, dembele too.
