As for the penalty, when you see Toby challenge in the box the first thing he does is put both hands behind his back. The last thing you do is stick one arm right out and make a great big target. It was very unfortunate but if you put the target there it stands a chance of being hit.

We were the better team. Scoreline flattered them. If it was anyone other than Liverpool, I'd have been relatively content with the final result. Fuck Liverpool and fuck their seemingly never ending supply of good luck.

Disagree.

Liverpool lost the league by a point this year, despite hitting 97 points, and their keeper threw in 2 goals in last year's final. They've had their fair share of bad luck.

His arm shouldn’t have been up and out there at all. Shame for Sissoko, really transformed himself this season.

I just disappointed we were losing for pretty much every second (-27) of that match.

All the looking forward, out the window. Would have been nice to enjoy us playing in the European cup final.
Especially snookering ourselves against the best defence in the premier league.

I wonder when the ITK Rob hinted at will start to drop in? We need some big signings to pick us up and go again.

He was pointing to a runner. It was so unfortunate.

...Yes there was no need to panic but you do need to get the ball in their half if you want to score. They were 1.0 up and perfectly happy to sit deep watching Verts, Toby, Verts, Lloris, Verts, Toby knock the ball about over and over again.
It was far too slow imo. Possesion for possesions sake when you are behind is daft.
We've played games like that this season where we are behind, the opposition sit deep and we just wank around until ooh fk theres only 5min left, better swing some balls in. Too little too late.

Perfectly stated.

Everything about 2019 should be a motivation to make sure we're better next season.

Obviously gutted, Pool were surprisingly poor and there for the taking. The pen in the first 30 secs knocked us for 6 and Kane was obviously not match fit. It’s and end of an era for this team and they gave us some remarkable moments getting to the final. Time for levy to open the cheque book and as Poch stated to start a new project with new players.

Never ever in a million years a penalty. If anything Mane should be booked for cheating. Changes the whole match ref was corrupt for giving it do not care about what the rule say if they say that was a pen they are 100% wrong

They deserve it.

As much as I hate them. They showed real ambition this year.

It's not about individuals it's about the team.
Nice thought but Kane was picked for individual reasons.
He couldn't run. He couldn't jump. But the media/sponsors wanted him out there and MP obliged.

Moura earned his place in the side and MP has stabbed him in the back. It wasn't a footballing decision. Can't say I'd blame him if now he wants to go.

As for Kane, I can't blame him for declaring himself fit - any player would. But I can't get any enthusiam up for the England games this summer. On this showing, he should drop out and work on his fitness/recovery. He owes us.

Shite. Sorry but the myth of Poch has gone for me.
Talk all you fucking want of destiny of wanting, of desire and all the rest of it.

It was absolutely-fucking-clear by even 30mins that Liverpool weren't firing on all cylinders and that they probably weren't going to be able to pick it up. By 55-60mins and their early substitutions it was clearer than ever because even klopp signaled he fucking knew it with the subs so even a moron like me could see it..Poch? Apparently not. Wtf did you see from him? seriously did anyone see anything? Wheres your fucking balls? All talk. Nothing playing career nothing management career so far, hmmm.

Kane. Our best player? A while ago maybe, but since when has he been our best player? I'd say a long time ago. Its also easier to seem to be the best player when basically the fucking team is picked around you to the detriment of the rest of the players and now, seemingly, the club. Kane CANNOT be substituted under any circumstances except us being a couple of goals up against shit opposition because...because...because, well i don't know!?

Dele, yeah nice goal against palace mate and a couple of headers against Chelsea, but fuck off.

Eriksen, must hurt seeing everything revolve around Kane, so some sympathy there but pack your bags and fuck off.

Trippier, one word "pussy", fuck off.

Rose, we are probably going to sell you because you have an actual pair of nuts son, sorry about that, extremley sad to see you go but you deserve better than the fake show going on here.

Feel desperately sorry for Moura, scandelous decision not to start with him and fuck Kane off to the bench. You get an offer mate you best leave, you will never fulfill your potential in a team with Kane in it.

Wankers. Liverscum absolutely there for the taking and we were disgusting. Would have preferred to have been battered off the pitch than that shite. Shameful.

I think arsenal are more your club.

Behave, you could just as well argue that Kane earned his place by leading this team for 5 years rather than one great performance 3 weeks ago

Gutted, mainly because it was there for the taking but so proud of this club, we’ve come an awful long way under Poch.

If we can use this as a catalyst to kick on next season as Liverpool did this season, then happy days. Bloody hope we do!

Let's all hope we do what Liverpool did after losing the final

We now go out and spend as much as necessary to fix the glaring weaknesses in the team

He was pointing for where he needed cover, and no striker aims there unless he's going for the handball. Yes, Sissoko should have been smarter, and the decision was correct, but it's a diabolical rule that makes that a penalty offence. A charter for gamesmanship, at which Liverpool excel.
