I know many on here have found the wait agonising, but I kinda wish it could go on forever.

The last 3 weeks have been like a blissful dream, first coming to terms with what happened at Ajax, and then knowing that we’re playing in the biggest game of the season, sitting front and centre of the football world.

I’ve been floating on cloud 9, and I want more time to soak it all up, if that makes sense.

Anyway, Saturday night is actually 5am Sunday morning here in Oz, so it’s going to be a long and nervous night on the couch for me before kick-off.

In spite of the distance, I feel intrinsically part of this campaign, having travelled all the way over for the return leg matches against Inter and Barca, the latter being one of the best nights of my life!
