The crowd was exceptional today. That's about the only positive from that shower of shit. When the Bergwijn sub happened, it was heartening to see and hear that at least the Spurs crowd doesn't want to sleepwalk back to anti-football mediocrity. There was a real edge to the atmosphere from then on, in stark contrast to the team on the pitch.

It seems increasingly that Nuno has no personality to impose on this side. If he feels the need to revert to Davies, you know he's really scraping the barrel. Maybe he'll do an Ole and go to 352 now as a last throw of the dice. But the lack of threat or any attacking quality since he arrived is mind numbing.

Keep booing. On and off the field, the people running and playing for this club are rotten. And they should have no enjoyment on game days until there is improvement. Fuck knows there's no enjoyment for us.

Not Kane’s biggest fan right now but I didn’t even see any options for Kane when he bought the ball forward. That’s nuno and his safe tactics.

The bloke who shouldn't be selected is being selected by the bloke who shouldn't have been selected.

Gotta love our club.

I don't think ENIC have ever been Spurs.
Just saw an opportunity to make some money & have been milking it ever since.

They got lucky a few times with Jol , Redknapp & Poch moving the team forward, but I feel that we will never compete with the top teams whilst they own the club.
Absolutely. It’s so obvious now. I really used to enjoy football even when we weren’t very good but now I just see the greed and neglect!

And if Potter says "No thanks, I'm enjoying my time at Brighton. Got a good group of players who are willing to give their all. And best of all, a chairman willing to back me"?
Then we find another coach who is renowned for attractive, attacking football. It is possible

We're in the shit, from top to bottom. Fans included. Because as long as we keep showing up, buying kits, buying tickets, going on stadium tours etc, we're funding the shambles.

The first team is atrocious. How some believe we 'won' this summer by keeping hold of Kane is beyond me. He's checked out - and he won't mind the fans turning because it will help his case to leave. The recruitment in general has been poor for years now: we got lucky with a few (i.e. Son, Dele) but we've wasted an awful lot of money on some utter tripe, going all the way back to the Bale money.

The club needs gutting.

We could have done that in the summer. We could have sold some big names/ wages, got Ten Haag in, got some hungry young players, and started a proper rebuild. With direction. Style. Purpose.

This, whatever it is we're watching / enduring now, is going nowhere. That's obvious. I also don't see how Poch returning will change anything, because the rot set in while he was at the helm - long before the Champions League final.

Simply. We're fucked.
at least 5-6 year ago we had some interesting youth prospects

also the general standard of the league is far higher now

lots of formerly mediocre clubs seem to have got their acts together

We should give Nuno at least a season or two, Mourinho's damage is going to take time to fix.

While the damage that has been caused by past mistakes will take time.
Nuno has had plenty of time to try and get his ideas across to the players. If the players aren't following what he wants then he should be out there barking orders.

Poch had a slow start when he first joined, but you could see what he was wanting from the players, and it finally clicked.

This is just clueless.
