Dier and verts great half. Davies terrible. Good start and end, lost it for 10 mins in the middle. Typical of us to concede in that spell and not hold out. Mental mistakes, dembele what were you thinking?

It looks like we tire quicker than before and that leads to some sloppy play. Worrying that our players will be less restet before next season because of the WC.

Not that bad of an half though. We have shown that we are up for it.

Its so typical spurs, better team playing better football but gift it to opposition. Please prove me wrong today spurs.

I wouldn't change anything as of now, I think it's just key to find Eriksen a bit more and get Son 1 on 1 with Valencia if we can. Alli's looked good in getting in behind too. I think we're playing well, even at 1-0 up I just thought it would be too much to ask to cruise this game.

That cross from Eriksen was superb, annoying we let them back in the match which was totally our doing.

Reckon fitness and experience is gonna be a major factor in the 2nd half.

Played pretty well. Not sure why everyone's sayng has Dembele has been poor. We've dominated midfield, he's just made a couple of silly errors, one leading to the goal.

Son's been poor though. Looks like he's been watching Sissoko in training.

Looked like we were taking control of the game again towards the end of the half. Let's continue this vein in the second half and finish off United.

So we don't get a miraculous improvement from benching the goalie. Incredible. Who would have thought, right?
Eh? Vorm's been fine apart from one dodgy kick. Even then he did the right thing and put it out of play instead of passing it straight to them.

Being the better team in a game versus United means nothing. In the dark days years ago we have dominated games and lost. This could go either way.

We just about edged that half in my opinion. Keep getting Erkisen on the ball and we'll be golden.

Opening 15 mins were as good as you could have hoped for..... Then United have bucked their ideas up a bit, but I think we also have dropped off. Work rate off the ball plummeted (Kane, Alli, Son) and we have completely lost the midfield and aren't compact in front of our defence.

Dembele and Son have been very disappointing as the half has gone on. Kane had early bluster, but since..... The fullbacks constantly leave me heart in mouth with a lot of what they do, Eriksen and Vertonghen have been really good so far though.

Am I seeing this wrong, or did Vorm react slowly (not at all) for their goal? No power on it. I wonder if Lloris might have saved that.
