Need a proper cover for Kane next season. Not a finished product but someone young enough to wait for his chance and pacy enough to trouble the opposing defence. Llorente was just a waste of good money.

Need cover / replacement for Dembele in the summer.

Need two full back upgrades for the starting eleven and give more playing time for KWP to see if he can be our first choice RB.

Ryan Sess would be the perfect fit as the LWB if we are playing 3 at the back.

Being a fan since around 95/96 I find it incredible hard to believe we ever had the mentality as a club to win the trophies we did in the past. Doesn’t seem to matter what the circumstance, we always find a way to not quite get there.

Thankfully I was a teenager in the 80s.
We had winners then.

We played better.

How? Did their keeper make a save in the 2nd half ?

Utterly clueless in breaking down teams who park the bus.

Odd decisions by Poch in the subs
Bring on genuine pace in Moura and play him central and then drop Dele deep

I'm his biggest fan but that is completely on Pochettino. They were completely set up to jam the middle. But instead of stretching the game, Poch moves our entire attack into the middle, playing right into their hands.

Son is giving valencia problems, so Poch movedls him inside. Brings on moura, plays him narrow. It's like he hasn't realised Davies and trippier aren't Walker and Rose, we gave them the game by handing them the wide areas. Amateur night. Poch has made major tactical errors in so many big cup games now, it's really bizarre. Like he completely freezes in knockout football

Experience and know-how is what we lack. This is cos we only buy potential- we need an old head who’s been there, done it. None of our players have done it on the big stage and hurts us massively.

Strangely not even livid tonight as I have been in previous semis, probably cos as soon as they equalised the result was inevitable

Exactly what I was saying

We need Levy to take the money from our ridiculous season tickets and buy a couple of players that have won something. I don’t care about fucking crushed floors and would stand in piss to see spurs win something.

Must be the most bi-polar fucking team in history. Periods of sensational, aggressive, positive football followed by periods of agonising, negative, almost indifferent capitulation.

Congrats on being the first at some dead, unfunny, muggy reply.

To quote John Lithgow from Dexter:

Shut up, count.

I think that’s what he said.

Oh god I LOVED John Lithgow in Dexter - thanks for reminding me

We have come a long way in the last three years and the gap was massive to bridge.

However, although we have had highlights this season in particular in the Champions League and winning at the Bridge, overall I think we were a better team last year than this.

It just frustrates me that I think man for man we have better players than United but they have a winning mentality and the star quality that usually comes through in the big matches.

I don’t agree with Poch saying it is not important to win the FA cup or League Cup; it is important to develop that winning mentality, to know how to get over the line. We need to start banking those trophies.

I want trophies, **** the top 4.

We won’t do anything in Europe anyway.
The top 4 is so important to us now though because it will allow us to attract the best players and the best managers. If you have the best players and best managers then you will give yourselves more chances to win something.

What’s the deal with our fans taking the flag away after semi finals?

It’s the same fucking loser flag every time. What do you freaks do with them? Must be 4,5,6 and counting

Because they and their manager are winners we are perennial losers

That's what I mean, I think as a team we have all the tools but not the knowhow and mentality to win trophies at the moment. It's no coincidence that we were the better team here today and when we played Chelsea and ended up losing both games.

Poch gives players excuse - cups not important. He needs to seriously ship up

Shout out for Dier today who I honestly think was our best player and really looked like he gave a shit.

Wouldn’t blame him if he was off in the summer.

Not at all, lose semi finals with Spurs or win leagues and cups somewhere else?

(and throw in double wages just as a little side perk)

Going to be sodding hard to convince our best players to stay beyond current contracts now.

So disappointed! Really thought we had a team to win it this season.
