Lamela starting makes sense. He's earned it against Chelsea and United.

Shame about Lo Celso. Zero PL minutes with Ndombele so far this season.

Only seen West Ham against Arsenal this season and they were unlucky to lose so not expecting a walkover.

Lamela will keep his place I'm sure. Not sure if Sissoko will start again or Winks alongside Hojbjerg. He might stick with Sissoko because I'm sure Aurier will start. I'm expecting the same side that faced Utd with the exception of Dier for Toby. Having Bale and Vinicius on the bench though puts us on another level of strength in depth now.

Kinda hoping Sissoko starts so another potential square up with Noble can happen.

I am so looking to this game but not because of Bale. Really liked how the 11 who started against Man Utd last played, and would love to see the same, for continuity and also the coming out of both PEH and Ndombele. Bale would be the icing on the cake coming off the bench.

Apparently it's Bergwijn starting, not Lucas or Lamela. Bale on the bench.
Im cool with that. He’s our 4th best attacking player. So if Bale dissnt start in the front 3, he’s the guy. Think Lamela deserves another start though

I'm weirdly worried about this. They play with 9 behind the ball and Antonio up there to fight for long balls. Will be no space in behind at all. Exactly the kind of game plan we struggle against. Need an early goal badly.

Absolutely this. Classic Moyes negative time wasting from minute one, can’t concede first. Antonio is a massive danger as is Soucek from set pieces. I actually worry about us defensively without Dier today.

Hopefully we are clinical going the other way and it won’t matter.

We're a different team under Jose. Think we'll punish them.

Will be tricky game West Ham have a played well recently and hit a decent patch of form. Also have to factor in this is their cup final so will always raise there game 100% against us.

Lamela isn't really needed to rile them up today, most of their "players" could pick a fight in an empty phonebox so they'll already be flying in to tackles and getting reds without extra prompting.
