Our defending is shocking tbh. We were giving them too much space even at 3-0. It feels like the players don't communicate well enough in defensive situations.

Not blaming Sanchez alone but it has to be said that he has made two mistakes in his last two games, giving away the Martial pen and scoring an own goal here. He has mistakes in him and he makes me nervous. We desperately need Dier or Rodon to step up this season otherwise we'll regret not signing Skriniar.

It's funny that we binned off Foyth for being error prone when I'd argue Sanchez is just as error prone as he is while being nowhere near as good on the ball.
