It is common knowledge to many people that Woody is our highest earning player on £60k a week, however this is not actually the case. Having known someone who is good friends with many personnel high up at Charlton I was astonished to find out that Darren Bent is earning £94 a week!

Although I think that this is a silly amount of money it does once again show the clubs commitment to get good players, and could go someway to attracting players the likes of eto'o and other top class stars who rightly or wrongly demand high wages.

But why would someone at charlton know this stuff, its not like Charlton had anything to do with the wage, only Bent and spurs know this stuff

Why would Charlton know? It is none of their business. Perhaps Bent has told them that he is in 94k per week (he must have been assuming we play three matches a week and he scores three hattricks)

This has been done many times before. The figure is not Bent's weekly wage. Hoofharted on COYS who knows Bent personally and was the only person to consistantly state he was joining spurs when all other ITKs and news outlets were certain Bent was joining West Ham.
