If anybody wanted to buy him the requirement should be that the opening bid was 150m.

Scratch that. They should pay 150m to be allowed to even negotiate.

But they would sell him.
The sands are shifting.
Throw in Son, Lloris and Dele for around 250
and it's the end of an era
and let the rebuild commence..
But not under Mourinho please.
Lets have a proper clear-out.

So, we're not keen on selling him on the cheap. Well, that bit of news has just hit me straight between the eyes.

Sadly I think we're perhaps coming to the end of Kane's loyalty. I'm sure he watches City and thinks I 'll get 30+ goals there and win major silverware. If Kane is allowed to leave I can't see Sonny being far behind him and then the likes of Tanguy will be off as well.

In my opinion, another crap news story unworthy of pages. Use a statement that has been bandied about by football comentators for weeks now. The club is unlikely to have had any conversations regarding this matter. Click bait...

Ask yourself what has he got to stay for maybe to keeping looking up the table at clubs like Leicester, Everton or west ham I seriously doubt it.

Its in every paper so bit more than clickbait imo, if we sell I guess it tells us yet again where we are, similar to when we sold Walker, looked a cracking price and a great move for the player which it turned out to be and now we have Aurier and Doherty.

Can't blame if he decides to go. Spurs will feel like a car without wheels, but he really deserves a few trophies and he's unlikely to get them with us.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Plus, to be fair, the article is so pointless. Any of us could have guessed that kind of figure. None of us are naive that he'll stick around forever without a trophy to his name.

I am thinking that as he is close to being our all time top scorer he might have a tilt at that.

There were stories about City and £90m though, so it's probably to put a stop to any daft rag stories like "Levy to sell Kane for £5 as spurs debt hits ONE BILLION"

I am sure it must factor in his thinking.

Becoming our all time top scorer will secure his place in history - there's a very good chance it will be a record that lasts decades or more.

If he goes somewhere like RM to win a few trophies, will he be remembered there in say 50 years time? He'll just be one of many players to have won trophies there. I think there's more glory right now in becoming our top goal scorer. And potentially also the top scorer in the Premier League - another record that could stand decades should he make it.

Que the dislikes but the guy really does deserve to win something and his loyalty to Tottenham is to his personal detriment. He has given enough.

Couldn't blame him for leaving of course. He's been more loyal than any player of his talent that I can think of (don't anyone dare mention Gerrard). As for leaving us? Well we don't even name him player of the season very often.... Think Sissoko beat him to it recently lol
