Would someone mind giving some details on Okedina? I’ve heard his name mentioned but don’t really know much about I’m him ?

If Aurier stays for the rest of the season should we loan out Japhet as well he hasn't played nearly enough minutes. I know injuries have played a large part. But the lad still has less than 1500 minutes at the professional level.
Japhet shouldn’t be loaned — he should be starting over Sanchez.

Unsure where else to put this but Marcus Edwards signed a new contract for Vitoria (until 2024) with a 50m euro release clause:

The club are rumoured to have a 50% sell on clause, I assume that would still be in effect

since the new manager came in he hasn't been playing much so i was a bit surprised when i saw this. i translated a few tweets that suggested he could still be on the move and this is just to protect his value but we'll see, it's a shame how it's gone for him this season given how well he was doing last year.

Would be great to see scarlet play at least 45 minutes

I think Devine is more ready but probably faces more competition. Scarlett, while very promising, is still a bit too raw for my liking. I think a good season or two in the U18s/U23s is what he really needs just to get the feel of it. Devine just strikes me as ready for men's football now.

I'll admit to not having seen much of either but for the little I have seen, I agree.
Devine looks to be totally comfortable playing against much older players, both physically and mentally.

Aggressive, confident, Good through balls, loves a tackle, excellent touch, can take the ball under pressure no problem and seems to have a good sense of where to position himself for a pass. I've not seem much of him getting forward. He's basically a deep midfield pivot who can do the metronome role if we need to keep the ball. If I had to compare him to someone it'd probably be Hjoberg.

I thought he got forward pretty well in that Chelsea game where he got sent off. I seem to remember him taking a few people on too.
I may well be completely misremembering though!

Anyone know the status of Malachi Walcott? Think he had a bad knee injury and needed surgery, is he back to full fitness soon?

Looking at this logically, you’d think Devine is most likely. Not based on talent, but need on the day. We are woefully short in terms of depth in our CM2 spots for this match. Especially if Jose would much rather give Sissoko the full match off. And PEH won’t play at all. Leaves just Winks, White and in a pinch, Dele. Whereas we have a lot of cover in attack already in the matchday squad. So, if I were to guess based on the process of elimination, it will be Devine.

I didn't see the game. I'm not saying he can't do that, just that I've not seen him do it and by all accounts for Wigan and England Yoof he was mostly playing the Hjoberg role.

It was only in that game, I kept thinking he was Clarke because he'd get the ball and try a forward run.
You'll have seen way more of him than me so as always on all things youth, I bow to your greater knowledge!
He does look like he has everything he needs to succeed though, and at a very young age.

For those who have watched a lot of Harvey White... is there a current or former Pl midfielder you would compare him to? In terms of his style of play? Also, within the club, what do they believe is the player’s ceiling? Tom Carroll level, Winks, Bentaleb, Mason, Skippy?
Seem like of the aforementioned that they rated Skippy the highest.
