Basically, he's our lower league English football expert because he knows, quite literally, everybody.
Like any scout he's not going to get everyone right but he lets us know if there is anyone down there with the raw talent enough to be moulded into something.

Glad I asked thanks for the info. I think I listened to half of that podcast. Real shame what happened tbh. I didn’t realise the police didn’t even charge him and it was all paper talk. Shame he didn’t ride it out probably would have blown over especially pre internet.

Out of interest besides Dele has pleat ever unearthed any other gems ? I find it mildly amusing every time he’s linked with watching a player Spurs Twitter accounts have a melt down like we’ve found the next Gazza.

There's probably endless examples of players in recent years he's scouted for us but we haven't gone for, pretty sure Pleat recommend the following though:

Couldn't tell you. He has struggled with injury this season, which is why we haven't seen him alot.

Apparently Temi Okuwa has joined Huddersfield academy. Presumably he was an under 16 with us. Has had some games with their under 17’s.
I thought Huddersfield abandoned their academy a few years ago. It appears to have started again.

Meh, he's injured, but more broadly he's 19 and he has another 2 years at least before thinking about needing to break into the first team.

I feel some people have hyped Paskotsi a bit much tbf, in part because of being an established international, but Estonia are a truly awful team, I mean, they are ranked bellow India, Cyprus and Kosovo. Credit to him, but its maybe not the achievement some people are saying. If you can play regularly at league 1 level, you can play regularly for Estonia.

Having said that, that is an achievement and Paskotsi is likely to have a good career in the game. It is still way more likely than not that it won't happen here and still more likely than not that it won't be in the top divisions.
