Brilliant news.

Wonderful talent to add to a highly promising group coming through and all signed up.

Gunter
Dorrington
Olusesi
Abbott
Kyerematen
Hall
Moore
Devine
Donley
Scarlett
Lankshear

If we can't make a few PL and/or Spurs players out of that lot we might as well give up.

List looks impressive, but to be fair if we go back some years we've had previous talents of similar caliber not making it.
Nothing happens automatically, they become players to our level by playing them age 18-22.

This group is totally different. We should be excited. We know anything can happen. But I follow the youth very closely for many a years. I have never seen such a group of talent as far back as I can remember here

Good to hear. It's difficult to be more talented than Marcus Edwards though, they'll only reach their potential if we dare play them before they are "ready".

Marcus was yes highly rated, and rightly so. But I can assure you he did not get the attention Mikey is getting

I’d add Craig to this list.

Mind you the first time I saw him play (on Chelsea’s YouTube channel) I thought he was absolutely amazing -two footed and all over the pitch. It was only at the start of the second half I realised there were two identical twins, Michael and Matthew, playing.

Undoubtedly a shift of focus in the academy and perhaps a trend aligning with the likes of Chelsea of offering much more attractive salaries/packages as another incentive to stay.

Perhaps a tad unfortunate not to have an additional competition in the Conference League as another route for these promising youngsters to get minutes in the first team but i'd fully expect them to be featuring more prominently on the subs bench and hopefully getting the 10-15 minutes here and there to start off.

At the absolute worst case, we should be at least trying to create revenue from the academy.

I know Chelsea get a lot of grief because of the amount of players they have on loan, but they contstantly sell their academy products for a decent fee.

This is something we haven't really seen since the Livermore/Mason/Bentaleb days and we have more than enough talent that we should be able to make some money to put towards the first team squad.

I know it sounds ruthless or cut throat but we need to add the additional revenue stream to remain competitive at the 1st team level as we don't have an endless barrell of cash like the other teams.

I don't even think it's that cut-throat, really, as not every kid coming through our academy is a Tottenham fan that dreams of playing only for us, and that goes for all other clubs too.

If we can provide them with a platform for a career and help them earn a move into first team football, especially to a club willing to pay a decent fee, then I'd imagine that's the hope of almost every single academy prospect.

Until Levy’s not involved we just won’t have much luck as a selling club across the board. Other clubs just can’t be bothered with the hassle of having negotiate with him. It works well for keeping our better players, but is absolute poison for getting rid of the rest.
