I was a big fan of his before he joined the academy full-time. He was such an intelligent player who had that Harry Kane/Christian Ericksen ability to be playing up front, in the 10, in central midfield and out wide all at the same time. He hasn't really developed at the rate I thought he would, he's also not got that much bigger or stronger which may have stalled his development as well as the other lads have filled out more. There was a time when I thought with a good growth spirt he might be converted into a creative centre forward but right now we're looking at someone who's probably going to be a decent utility player for a league two side, not dissimilar to Joe Pritchard who left us a versatile midfielder and has made a good career for himself at League two Accrington playing as their number 10. We're obviously trying things with Robson because we've had him playing in the inverted right wing back position for the U23s and he does some nice things but he'd get absolutely butchered playing in the Premier League. Is max Robson just a squad filler or is he good enough to be in the first team squad?

U18s 1-0 down
Sessegnon and Scarlett playing for the U21s today
Surely it would make more sense to have Ashcroft rb, jsb rw and sess lb? Unless there’s a mistake in how they’ve listed the team

Not on SpursPlay? Shame
Phillips looks good, Devine decent with his touches so far but the winger on his side is terrible and never gives him the ball early so he can have any spaceDevine and Philips start for Plymouth v Leeds. 1230 live skysports
