Yeah, it's a bit of a new idea really. He's a coach/player, so he's learning his coaching (I presume taking his badges) and helping coach throughout games on the pitch.Big Tom's been there a couple of years I think. Doing good work with their youngsters.
It does take away a youth place for games but it's probably good for the youngsters to have a coach out there with them and it's a novel way of training a player to become a coach.
Certainly an interesting way of doing things and I wonder who came up with the idea?
