The unlimited transfers has only been extended for this week because of the problems accessing the site before the last games. From this weekend it will be back to normal with one free transfer a week and two wildcards (check the rules for the other details on transfers)

Getting points is all about being able to 'read' players and upcoming fixtures. What formation is the team using? Who is the striker? Who are the defenders said player will be up against? What is their style of play vs. the team they are playing etc.

You can go as deep as that but some of it is just dumb luck. Nobody expected Cahill to score 11 points, although I originally had Klasnic on my team because OC demanded he 'step up' during pre season, and he answered with 5 goals, so I thought he would be big this year (10+ goals).

Just use your gut and a bit of footy logic

Some of it is luck but there are tactics involved in it too. I finished in the top 1500 out of nearly 1.8 million 2 years ago, which was decent, by using www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk, the lads on there know their stuff.

It just takes up too much time and I don't bother with it anymore.

How do you fuckers all predict such high scoring players? I total 35, despite having Hart in goal for only seven points, and Suarez as my captain. I would look and see what the rest barely got any points for, but for some reason, probably IE's fault which i have to use at work, the box that pops up to show me is about 800 feet wide and i can only see the last column, no matter how i resize the window.

On top of that, Rio's crocked now til late september, so had to transfer him out for Richards

Depressing isn't it only marginally better myself 35 points although VDV not playing didn't help!

got 66, with Bale and Jagielka not playing but perfectly subbed by tiote and Simpson of Newcastle! Stuck with the dilemma to fit Aguero in at the moment.

I think the main Aguero issue is competition for me rather than value. Made 2 changes today and no doubt they will change again before the weekend so making the most of the last unlimited window.

With the extended unlimited transfers I've managed to find a way to accomodate both Suarez and Aguero - so I'm happy.

And no Arsenal players in my team without consciously excluding them. A productive Thursday so far.

I know of 3 people who entered the comp but their team didn't show up, where as mine was entered twice!

This transfer amnesty is a bit of a blessing. Swapped a couple over, will get Adebayor in pronto as soon as he's available too!

A little annoying for those who didn't have Cech but for those that did this extra unlimited window will be a blessing for them.

Looking out for the Nasri move and also the Adebayor move and also Adebayor's valuation when he pops up as to whether I will attempt to maybe include them now or later in the season.

well pleased with the start considering my first eleven had hernandez odemwingie VDV P neville and evra who all did not [play.

now have agureo and surez up front jagilka instead of richards and shawcross instead of evra.
