Emana wasn't good enough for Newcastle or West Ham and it wouldn't make any sense to put yet another new blood midfielder in the side who has not a shag of an idea of English Football. He's old enough that he'd want a proper contract and wouldn't get the games he expects. Wilson is better.

Odonkor is too much of an injury worry for the money he'd expect too. I don't see Harry taking that kind of gamble right now and, besides (and i can't believe i'm saying this) why do we need another average right winger? We can get better.

An interesting thing about Emana, is that he played numerous times for Toulouse on the LW. So if Harry was genuinely interested in Muntari, who can play both as a CM or LW, a move for Emana would make sense.

Yeah i said that.

He is brilliant. I abslutely love Spanish football because of the electric pace that sides counter attack at, and he is a player that fits that style perfectly. Strong on the ball and equally strong off it in the tackle, he really reminds me of Appiah in his prime. He also has an absolute cannon of a shot on him. I cant think of a better and more available option than him as our more attack-minded midfielder to partner Palacios, especially as he can drift out to the left and cover for Modric when he cuts inside.

Glover appeared on my scouting radar while I was watching Predator 2, but I'd also appreciate a more informed assessment of his abilities

I imagine he twists his head around prior to taking penalties

power, pace, good leadership qualities. everything that should constitute a 'one to watch +', but unfortunately glover is too old for this shit.

Odonkor looks set to return to Germany so he can win a spot for South Africa.

He is just a player we should sign if we got him very cheap. A player Redknapp maybe can get the best out of.... Only if he was available for a very small transfer fee, and low wages.

I've just checked up on how this load of old toot did this season. With the exception of the two who are actually any good (Cavenaghi and Emana) and the two mediocre ones (Gomiss and Cissé), they've all been complete shit. Hot tip Dja-Djedai-Knight, far from making his big Ligue 1 breakthrough with Grenoble, went back to Ligue 2 with Strasbourg, and has been rubbish.
