Gervinho is a great player with a bright future. I also see we are linked with a couple of french based players now - Cavenaghi and Briand. Two very good players

I think Harry knows quite a lot about the French market, and Taiwo should also be a player that he admires, I think.

No-one else does, bar yourself.

Spursking - have you emailed Harry about teambuilding? If so, can you let everyone know if you get a response.

Must be a bitch now Comolli has left, who now at Spurs will accept your emails?

Harry is probably one of them who really would read my e-mails, as he has signed many of the players I have wanted.

I remember when he bought Yakubu from Maccabi Haifa. A player I had been monitoring, and wanted Tottenham to sign. What a bargain. That is only one example.

Based on money avalible, Harry has been one of the best in the Premier League in the transfer market over the years. He was also the one, who bought Kanoute to West Ham. Muntari to Portsmouth. Diarra to Portsmouth. Kaboul to Portsmouth. Defoe to Portsmouth. Benjani to Portsmouth, etc....

I do not remember if he also was behind the signing of Kenwyne Jones to Southampton. Probably not, but he has worked with him aswell, and deserves credit for his progress aswell.

Whilst I agree that there is some talent in those suggested by SK, I think this season we're going to need proven Prem ability so I feel we're going to need to do a Redknapp and look out for any possiblilties in our own league before we look abroad.

I have not e-mailed him yet. Harry is the right man to speak teambuilding with, as you see his record over the years. What a great job he has done with Portsmouth in particular.

I think you are probably right there

I always assumed that Redknapp was one of the managers that did read Spursking's emails and act on them.

Harry probably orders the players by number like anyone else would with a take away.

Spurs Track Ligue 1 Striking Duo

New Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is widely believed to be examining the possibilities of boosting the firepower at his disposal. A number of forwards have been linked with a move to the club, including Bordeaux’s Fernando Cavenaghi and Rennes’ Jimmy Briand…

With just two experienced forwards on the books of Tottenham Hotspur, the priority for new manager Harry Redknapp this Christmas will be to add at least one striker, possibly two, to his squad.

Possessing a sizeable war chest, Redknapp should have plenty of financial clout in January and has already been linked with players of the calibre of Zaki, Guiza and Yakubu.

Mercato365 has today reported that Spurs are also tracking two Ligue 1 forwards, namely predatory striker Fernando Cavenaghi of Bordeaux and livewire Jimmy Briand of Rennes.

Argentine international Cavenaghi has been with Bordeaux for nearly two years but only began to make an impression last Christmas at the Stade Chaban Delmas. The 25 year-old could not stop scoring after scoring a brace against Auxerre last January. In the last 18 Ligue 1 fixtures of last term he found the net 15 times.

Progress has slowed a little over the summer for the forward yet he still has a very respectable total of six goals from 12 appearances.

Rumour – and only rumour – suggests that Liverpool are also interested in bidding for the prolific forward.

While Cavenaghi is a clear-cut goal scorer, Briand can be considered more of a creator of goals - his English equivalent would probably be Jermain Defoe, who played with Spurs until January 2008.

Briand, who was embroiled in a tug-of-war between Rennes and PSG this summer (with the forward wanting to move away), has three Ligue 1 goals this season but has played some terrific football after a difficult start.

SK emailed Martin Jol - check out Joey's signature next time you see a post.

I wonder if we might sign Zaki as he's only on loan at Wigan.

Wow. I mean, we are all armchair managers with lots of ideas, but i never imagined someone would actually try and push those ideas on to an actual manager.

He has e-mailed to FA, DC and propably Pleat before that and if I'm right you can count DL to same gang who has received e-mail from SK

Out of interest where would he get the email addresses from? Surely they don't use obvious email addresses?
